**Warehouse Supervisor (Solar)**

Salary**: £23K-26k per annum**

Hours of Work**: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08.00am till 5.00pm or 9am-6pm.**

Location**:Wolverhampton**

Tomato Homes are currently on the lookout for an effective warehouse supervisor. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage and shipping of solar installation materials to ensure that all warehouse processes are functioning correctly and in a timely manner.

An innovative company with decades of experience in the Heating and Energy Sector aiming to aggressively grow our business nationally with ambitious plans to rapidly increase our turnover becoming the country’s leading Energy brand within the next 5 years supplying and fittings Gas Boilers, Smart Metering, Solar PV and Batteries.

To be successful in this role you will have experience managing Warehouse facilities and stock control and must be able to demonstrate good Health & Safety practices. Must be conversant with Warehouse operations, computer systems, logging and handling goods in/out as well as stock control.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the warehouse in a strategic manner in accordance with company policies and vision.
- Collaborate with Area Project Managers and Installation Teams to ensure efficiency throughout the installation process.
- Responsible for receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining stock
- Follow all legal requirements for storage, handling and shipping.
- Liaise with suppliers
- Order materials required for installation.

**Person specifications/requirements**:

- Must be able to follow directions and follow all safety procedures in place
- 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment controlling stock
- Stock handling/Manual Handling
- Adherence to H&S requirements
- Conversant with Stock forms/systems
- Working knowledge of computers and Google based programs required
- Must be on-time and reliable for warehouse operations
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
