**Job Summary**

Our Project Co-ordinator will work alongside the other members of the Management Team to manage, co-ordinate and be responsible for the day to day running of Girvan Youth Trust and Z1 Youth Bar.

We are looking for someone to lead on our financial strategy, development of a steady income stream and to actively promote Girvan Youth Trust to a wider audience. They will also create and implement various development strategies including an income maximisation plan which ensures the work of Girvan Youth Trust is at the heart of it.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Ø To oversee and provide support to the supervisors of both DFN Project Search South Ayrshire and Girvan Youth Trust’s Hand in Hand Project.

Ø Establish and maintain links with local employers in relation to employment opportunities for local young people with additional support needs and/or disabilities.

Ø To network with parents, schools and other strategic partners in the development and progression of DFN Project Search South Ayrshire.

Ø Be one of two Designated Safeguarding officers for Girvan Youth Trust. This also means ensuring any safeguarding concerns are responded to appropriately.

Ø Lead in the development, implementation and updating of Girvan Youth Trust’s Safeguarding Policy and Procedures.

Ø Promotion of Girvan Youth Trust to supporters, businesses and the community to represent the charity externally in order to raise awareness and develop an income generation stream.

Ø Lead in the creation, development and implementation of a business development strategy for the charity including attracting income from: Trusts/Foundations, Local/Regional/National Funding Bodies, Local Authorities and any other appropriate means.

Ø Undertake regular research to identify potential funding streams and prioritise opportunities based around the charity’s need, funding criteria and/or deadlines.

Ø Where appropriate, participate in the delivery of our Working with Schools Programme.

Ø Lead on the submission of funder reports including Girvan Youth Trust’s Annual Report, ensuring these are complete in a timely manner and to a high standard.

Ø Support the development, and implementation, of our outcome monitoring and impact analysis across our charity’s service delivery.

Ø Work closely with the Youth Work Team to identify and create impactful communication campaigns ensuring an appropriate media is used for the correct audience

Ø Ensure that all operational policies and procedures comply with current legislative requirements as well as Girvan Youth Trust’ ethos.

Ø Participate and attend relevant meetings both internally and externally.

Ø Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as identified through the development of Girvan Youth Trust

**Salary**: £29,575.00 per year
