Overview:
The post holder will have lead responsibility for promoting the Communities For Work Plus programme in Conwy. They will act as the first point of contact make recommendations as to whether participants meet the eligibility criteria for inclusion on the project. If a potential participant does not meet the eligibility criteria the post holder will refer the participant onto other eligible projects.
The post holder will also support a team of Mentors and Advisors with a range of duties including facilitating weekly triage meetings, record keeping and claim support documentation as required. This will be a key networking role and the post holder will be required to work closely with other employability partners and projects across the county.
Communities for Work Plus is a Welsh Government funded employability programme supporting unemployed people, aged 20 plus years, living in Conwy county.
**Duties**:
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Provide administrative support such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial record keeping
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when interacting with clients and colleagues
- Assist with general clerical tasks as needed
- Type correspondence, reports, and other documents
- Utilize computerized systems and software such as Google Suite
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus
- Proven experience in data entry and administrative tasks
- Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial record keeping
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Proficiency in computerized systems and software such as Google Suite
**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 2 months
**Salary**: £13.44 per hour
Expected hours: 37 per week
