Womenswear Merchandiser

Are you a Merchandiser who’s looking for the opportunity to join a growing business?

A Nottingham based retailer are looking for a Senior Merchandiser to come in and join their team.

Day to day, you’ll be planning, trading, and analysing across the businesses e-commerce and retail stores.

You will also be responsible for managing the stock levels within the stores and warehouses to ensure you any sales opportunities and reduce any markdown risk.

Other responsibilities include;
- Forecast sales budgets at seasonal and category level, support by analysis and present to directors.
- Control stock levels within the business - Forecasts stock required to hit sales plans within each channel, ensure critical path deadlines are followed, agree timescales and delivery dates with production, complete all necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
- Manage the distribution of stock, ensure the allocation strategy achieves the company’s objectives, oversee stock consolidations of fragmented styles.
- Range build - Collaborate with design, hit agreed buy budgets, balance historical data with the latest trends.
- Trade - Focus on the best and worst styles, collaborate with all teams within the business to optimise or improve performance.

Strong communication skills and organisation skills will be essential in this role as you will work closely with Design, Production, Retail & E-com team and build strong relationships with the Finance, Marketing and Wholesale teams.

The role is willing to pay around 45k dependent on experience.
