**Albrighton Hall Hotel Spa are looking for a Night Porter.**
Mercure Albrighton Hall Hotel Spa, managed by the Focus Hotels Management Group are seeking to recruit a hotel night porter to join our team.

**Who are we**
Mercure Shrewsbury Albrighton Hall Hotel Spa is an 87 bedroom hotel beautifully placed in the Shropshire countryside, with a full leisure club, health spa, meetings and events to compliment the hotels oak room restaurant and 1630 bar.
A 4* hotel, perfectly situated for business and leisure, sat within 15 acres of gardens and woodland.
Excellent service, quality foods and beverages and an overwhelming sense of teamwork are key to our success.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Passionate about hospitality, food, beverage, customer service
- a professional, guest-centric, enthusiastic individual with bags of personality
- Provide prompt service and actively seek opportunities to drive guest satisfaction
- Ensure that you are fully aware of any relevant feedback from either guests or other departments
- Ensure all access to the hotel is secure as required by hotel policy and procedure.
- Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel and the local area
- Respond to guest complaints, resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction, as needed
- Receive, input, retrieve and relay messages to guests, as needed
- Complete regular security walks of the hotel during the night
- Set up function rooms meeting rooms for the following day as per instructions
- Ensure that the end of day process is completed and all folios are balanced.

**Key Requirements**:

- Previous customer service experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent grooming standards
- Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations
- Good level of IT proficiency
