Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks have an exciting opportunity for an **Inventory Controller** to join our team based at our Head Office in Thame, Oxfordshire. This is a full time, permanent position, working 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.

**Responsibilities**

As our **Inventory Controller**, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of stock holding for the UK market, carrying out duties as directed by the Parts Manager and in particular:

- Calculate inventory requirements to meet the market demand.
- Identify all stocking issues and communicate internally.
- Ensure stock held is accurate, adjusting, if necessary, after investigating each case.
- Prepare, report and communicate forecasting and inventory KPIs.
- Manage inventory targets.
- Review of orders to ensure they will not result in under / overstocks.
- Raise and place purchase orders / returns and defects with suppliers.
- Ensuring stock value is aligned with finance.
- Continuously monitor suppliers & procedures to ensure the profitability is maximised.
- Support and liaise with logistics and forwarding agents to timely move goods through customs.
- Performing weekly review of demand cleaning and identifying corrections.
- Maintenance of product lead time to ensure delivery expectations are met.
- 1st point of contact with suppliers and able to communicate effectively.
- Maintenance of products within the ERP system.
- Support the day to day business inventory needs to meet and exceed internal and external customer needs.

**Skills and Experience **

To be consider for the position of **Inventory Controller** you must have a **minimum of 5 years experience** in inventory planning. Other skills and experience we will be looking for include:

- Experience of using forecasting software
- Forklift truck / automotive / mechanical products knowledge
- Importing & Exporting goods
- Intermediate excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data analysis
- Commercially aware for pricing products
- Supplier management experience
- Highly organised
- Good communications skills (as you will need to communicate with oversea suppliers)
