A global (re)insurance business with a strong presence in the London Market are looking for a high calibre accountant to report directly into the current FD with a view to succession planning. They are are seeking a qualified accountant with proven industryknowledge who is happy being hands on as part of a small team as well as having the ability to operate with senior colleagues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Control the monthly reporting process. Ensure full reconciliation and analysis of monthly result and associated compliance signoffs.
- Take ownership for reporting of all technical accruals including WBNR, IBNR, Contingent Commissions, Cat IBNR and any other relevant provisions.
- Production and enhancement of Management information liaising with colleagues across the International Reinsurance division.
- Prepare the monthly and quarterly Management Information packs.
- Seek ways to use technology to find ways to automate existing reporting and enhance current portfolio of report.
- Responsible for reconciliation, production and analysis of the Reinsurance result for London Operations.
- Key point of contact with Underwriting, Claims Department and IT.
- Assist in analysis of original plan and subsequent reforecasts.
- Involvement in ERP project as well as ad-hoc project work.
- Point of contact for queries with other teams and Head Office in respect of Reinsurance accounting.
