**Stone Willy's Kitchen Assistant Triangle North Cave**
- 13.5 Hours Per week
- Monday Midday | 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
- Tuesday Morning | 05:30 am - 10:00 am
- Thursday Morning | 05:30 am - 10:00 am
- Set shifts on a standard rota
- Holiday and Sickness cover
- 4 Weeks Holiday Per Year plus bank holiday allowance
- £11.44 per hour
- No previous kitchen experience required as full training is provided
**Your Role and a Little About Us...**
You will be joining the Stone Willy’s Team at our BP Triangle North Cave Petrol Station, working within the kitchen preparing fresh, hot and tasty food. We strive to give enthusiastic, efficient, and friendly service and to provide a great customer experience.
Your day-to-day role will include preparing pizzas, wraps, sandwiches, salads, bacon and sausage baps and other hot and cold food offerings for sale within our shop and kitchen. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, ensuring stock is rotated and stored correctly, deliveries are put away and paperwork is completed on time in line with company policies and procedures.
**Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following**:
- Serving customers hot tasty food to our recipes.
- Serving food to order directly to customers, preparing and filling cold displays for efficient service, and preparing and filling the hot towers for customer self-service.
- Ensuring good communication between the kitchen and till to ensure all food has been paid for in full prior to handing food over to customers.
- A high level of product knowledge to help advise customers on their orders.
- Greeting customers as they enter the store, creating strong relationships with new and regular customers.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen throughout shift and working to our health and safety standards.
- Accepting deliveries, stock management of freezers and fridges, date, and stock checking.
- Ensuring all products are correctly labelled in line with allergen laws and guidelines.
- Ensuring all food-to-go units - Costa, Tango Ice Blast, Fwip, F’Real - are well stocked and maintained throughout the day.
- When kitchen is quiet taking the initiative to stock and clean the shop, and any other ad hoc jobs left by your manager.
- Following day-to-day requests and direction from your Kitchen Supervisor. Seeking advice from your supervisor for any problems or queries you might have.
- Reporting directly to your site manager.
**Requirements for the Role**:
- Previous experience within retail or kitchen environment preferable but not required as full training will be provided.
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude, with a strong ability to work well as both part of a team or individually in a high paced work environment.
- Flexibility to help cover holidays and sickness is a strong requirement.
- Ability to follow direction as well as using your own initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Physically able to lift and carry stock and deliveries and perform all cleaning duties
- Professional, friendly, and approachable manner.
- Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but not required as external training will be provided as required.
- Able to commute to North Cave, HU15 2RD (no public transport)
- This job is NOT based in Hull and is NOT near Brough train station
