**Typical Salary £7,465 per annum**

**(based on a workload of 16 apprentices)**

**(final salary will depend on allocation of apprentices)**

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the farriery team at Holme Lacy College as a Farriery Field Officer supporting our apprentices in the South West of England. You will have a background in farriery, a clear understanding of the commitments of an Approved Training Farrier (ATF) and have a passion for working with apprentices within the farriery industry.

The apprenticeship is delivered in two blocks per academic year and the apprentices spend the rest of their time with their ATF. You will be expected to visit your allocated apprentices every 12 weeks.

You will be home based and work for the college for an agreed number of days per year. Your salary will be commensurate with the agreed workload.
