**Gas Engineer**

**Havant, covering predominately PO + SO Postcodes**

**£38,000 per annum + out of hours (1 in every 6 weeks - £300 retainer, £57 per job regardless of completion. Bank Holidays out of hours - 8 hours taken as TOIL or paid in lieu)**

Hyde is one of the UK’s leading Housing Associations. Property Services at Hyde is responsible for ensuring that we provide all customers with a safe and decent home. As a Domestic Gas Engineer at Hyde, you will be required to undertake a variety of gasinstallations and repairs/maintenance.

**Key Responsibilities of a Gas Engineer**:

- Service, installation and repair of domestic gas appliances (i.e. gas boilers, fires).
- Perform routine maintenance checks
- Maintain and monitor the supply, stock and use of materials.
- Participate in the 'out of hours’ service delivery on a rota basis (Currently every 1 in 6 weeks)
- Act as a liaison between residents and internal teams to ensure any property-related issues are highlighted and resolved promptly
- Raise any non-compliance or process failures with managers.

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer
- Great Customer Service Skills
- Essential Qualifications: CCN1 CKR1 CENWAT
