**Trainee Claims Handler**
Full time, 37.5 hours per week (See below for details)
Paid Weekly - £9.50/hr (Circa £318 a week TAKE HOME) During Temp, then monthly once permanent
~ 3 months duration with temp to perm opportunity**
**Hybrid Role>Remote, must be comfortable working in a small Stockport office, with option to work from home some days each week after training. Our client is an established financial services organisation is looking to recruit on a temp to perm basis to help support a growing division.
**Role Responsibilities**:

- Communicate directly with customers to capture information, understanding their requirements
- Communication with policyholders, clients, Loss Adjusters and suppliers will be central to the role along with recording every aspect of each claim on claims management system.
- Providing assistance and advice to all stakeholders where necessary, answering inbound calls from policyholders and clients wishing to register a claim, accurately logging new claim details.
- Ensuring claims are processed in a timely manner.
- Providing comprehensive verbal and written advice on all aspects of policy wording in relation to cover and claims whilst advising policy holders on their claims and the best method of settlement.
- Obtaining relevant documentation for the assessment of the claim including claim forms, photographs, third party reports, receipts/proof of purchase etc.
- A background in delivering exceptional service standards
- Possess a positive attitude to working as part of a team - We have a great team spirit, and you will be part of our huddles and our regular training and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Motivated, able to self start, very willing to learn
- Comfortable working remotely, but with a collaborative team ethic
- Able to operate to agreed deadlines
- Open to engaging with the team, learning as you go
- Analytical mindset, able to evaluate facts and recommend appropriate decisions
- Due to the nature of the work attention to detail is key
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to understand and work to business key performance indicators

- Articulate knowledge of excellent customer service handling

Department is open 8AM>6PM, ideally you would work 8:30>5 or 9>5:30 during your temp time.Once made permanent you would normally work 8:30>5pm, with some 8-4:30 and some some 9:30>6pm.You would also need to cover a 9-1 on Saturdays around once every 6 weeks.
