This vacancy is working within our Homeless, Mental Health and Bewell Service. The focus of the Homelessness Service is practical support which includes advising on people’s housing rights and responsibilities, assisting with rent or mortgage arrears, advice with benefits, and ways of maximising income, as well as preparing people for moving into their new home and preventing homelessness. Our Mental Health Service supports people to manage appointments, budget, maintain their home, wellbeing and link in with their community. Our Bewell Service is a specialist service for the Berwickshire Housing Association. Tenants can access all of the support above and are enabled to thrive in their communities.

The Mental Health & Wellbeing Practitioner will work over all services and provide practical support and supervision to Mental Health & Wellbeing Workers.

Please note that due to geographical location driving licence and access to a car are essential for this role.
