**About the Role**:
Our Support Practitioners make a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support.
We currently have exciting opportunities for Support Practitioners to join our growing organisation and support individuals within their own homes in the Bellahouston area, Glasgow.
This service supports 3 gentlemen, all with different support needs, therefore this role will include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst while enabling and promoting independent living. Our team takes pride in insuring we work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.
We are looking to recruit Support Practitioners on a permanent basis, shifts can be varied over 24hrs including early, late and nights.

**About you**:
We are looking for individuals who are sensitive to people’s needs and proactive in supporting people to lead active lives. You will have a good understanding of the need to support people to stay healthy and safe.
Having previous experience and qualifications is great, but not essential as we provide full in-house training and will support you to achieve your SVQ Level 2.
The people we support have varied interests, from cooking to walking and arts and crafts. If you share some of these interests and have the dedication and enthusiasm to support them achieve their goals - we want to hear from you

- You are professional and can deal with queries in a diplomatic and confidential manner
- You are patient and understanding
- You are eager to learn and develop your skills in any training provided
- You have a good knowledge of services Sense Scotland provide
- Driver (Desirable)
