Woodland Group are recruiting a Health and Safety Administrator to be based at our Chelmsford head office. The Health and Safety Administrator will report to and work with the Health and Safety Officer and will work closely with Managers, Supervisors andSafety Representatives across the group to ensure all health and safety requirements of the business are communicated across the Company.

What you will be doing:

- Providing administrative assistance to the H&S Officer;
- Updating the HR System with relevant training records & accident information;
- Ensure site inspections are completed by Health and Safety Representatives;
- Delivering toolbox talks;
- Making sure staff have read and understood Risk assessments and Safe working procedures;
- Informing the Health and Safety Officer of any changes in processes;
- Assisting in accident investigations, ensuring forms are fully completed in a timely fashion;
- Identifying potential hazards, reporting and recommending corrective action;
- Carrying out internal audits;
- Working with Health and Safety Officer and Group Training Manager to organise appropriate training for staff;and Carrying out DSE assessments and new and expectant Mother assessments.
- Work with the operations team to continually improve processes and business performance;
- Support changes in the role necessary to take the department and business forward; and Work to achieve personal objectives set at appraisal and/or those set monthly or quarterly.
