Alexander Steele are working with a multi-site food manufacturer who are looking for a Multi - Skilled Shift Engineer to join their ambitious and growing business across their sites Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire area. This is an exciting opportunity tojoin a strong team within a business who are known to have a great culture.

**The role**:

- Maintain and repair plant machinery as required (both electrical and mechanical)
- Problem solves in a logical and rational way
- Carry out PPM tasks as directed
- Carry out work orders to repair and maintain plant equipment
- Assist other engineers and contractors with installations & repairs
- Be proactive in ensuring all necessary documentation is completed correctly and handed in on time
- Provide training and support to any member of the engineering team where required
- Adhere to the company’s hygiene, environmental, health and safety policies, systems and safe working practices
- Problem solves in a logical and rational way.
- Experience working in FMCG
- Experience with PPM and various other aspects of maintenance
- Problem solvers and will think out of the box
- Up-beat, positive and possess a good attitude to work
