Working to briefs, you’ll provide sketches of what characters, props and environments might look like.You can expect to work across many areas of visual media, such as illustration, comic books, animation and print media.
Your conception, or ideas, will then be used as a reference throughout the rest of the project.

**Entry requirements**:

- Must not possess qualifications above level 3
- Must not be in education or full-time work
- Be willing to commit to all elements of the traineeship
- Be willing to commit to a 6-12 month programme

**Skills required**:

- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work within project guidelines
- Experience in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign)
- Good time management skills and ability to work in a fast
- paced, deadline-driven environment

**Personal qualities**:
Passionate about
- Drawing
- Illustration and Graphic Design across various mediums.
- Researching ideas and concepts
- Worldbuilding
- Creating storyboards
- Developing characters

Work Preparation Training

Travel and lunch expenses only.

A traineeship is a programme consisting of a work placement, vocational training and work preparation training. You must be willing to commit to all elements of the programme. If you have not achieved your Maths/English GCSEs at grade 4 or above or Level 2 Functional Skills, you will study towards these qualifications during your traineeship.
