Newmarket, United Kingdom Cambridge Care Company Full time

Our organization is dedicated to providing essential support and guidance to young people aged 16-18 within our Semi Independent Living Accommodation, recognizing the unique challenges they face during this transitional phase of their lives. With a commitment to fostering independence, we specialize in empowering these individuals to navigate the journey towards self-sufficiency as they prepare to transition out of the care system upon reaching the age of 18.

In our Semi Independent Living Accommodation, we offer varying levels of support tailored to the specific needs of each young person. Our comprehensive approach combines nurturing care with a focus on skill development and personal growth. Our goal is to create a supportive environment that not only meets the immediate needs of the individuals but also equips them with the tools and resilience necessary for a successful transition into independent living.

Central to our mission is a deep understanding of safeguarding procedures. We prioritize the safety and well-being of our young residents, implementing robust safeguarding measures to create a secure and protective environment. Our staff members are trained to be vigilant, proactive, and responsive, ensuring that the young people in our care feel secure and can trust in the support system we provide.

Through mentorship, life skills training, and emotional support, we strive to instill a sense of self-confidence and autonomy in our residents. We recognize the importance of addressing the unique needs of each individual, respecting their backgrounds, aspirations, and challenges. Our holistic approach considers not only immediate care but also long-term success, emphasizing the acquisition of essential life skills, educational achievements, and vocational training.

As our young people approach the age of 18, we work collaboratively with them to create personalized plans for their transition out of care. We believe in laying a foundation that supports their journey towards independence, ensuring they are well-prepared for the responsibilities and opportunities that await them. Our commitment extends beyond the confines of our facilities, aiming to empower these young individuals to lead fulfilling and self-determined lives beyond the care system.
