- **Key duties include**:_

As a Laundry Assistant you will:

- Provide a comprehensive laundry service to the home for all personal and domestic laundry, according to the individual needs of residents and ensuring a good quality service always
- Store and distribute clean laundry to appropriate residents
- Be alert to hazards for self, other staff and residents and to report these immediately
- Provide routine maintenance, where possible, to equipment not in good working order and maintain records of this
- Dispose of all waste in an appropriate manner

- Experience of Laundry work
- Able to work to the required rota to support the service
- Training in the use of specialist cleaning equipment
