**Salary**: £25,725 - £30,975 plus benefits
**The Role - EQA (External Quality Assurance) Coordinator**
The role of the EQA Coordinator is to support the organisation by coordinating and supporting external quality assurance (EQA) activities. This includes the facilitation and administration associated with EQA meetings and assisting with standardisation activities (including the collation and preparation of samples). This role is key to the sampling processes used by the group and will at times contribute to internal audit activity.
**Key activities for this role include**:
- Facilitating all EQA meetings including room bookings, calendar coordination, creating agendas, gathering appropriate information, providing support and minute taking
- Assisting with standardisation activities to include the collation and preparation of samples
- Co-ordinating the EQA monitoring process to include booking and sampling of materials
- Assisting in carrying out internal audit checks in preparation for monitoring activities
- Completing all activities within set service standards and inform the manager(s) where these cannot be met
- Recording all external interactions in the MIA system
- Monitoring the Centre assessment standards scrutiny (CASS) process reporting any issues or recommendations for improvement
- Supporting on the preparation and delivery of training and standardisation for all EQAs
- Providing ongoing support to EQA including the creation of accounts and secure links, general enquiries, the use of system forms and allocation of EQA activities
Monitoring the EQA and Access to HE inboxes to ensure timely and accurate responses to enquiries
Monitoring the MIA inbox and allocate forms and task appropriately within the compliance team
Ensuring all quartz events are updated and added when appropriate
Coordinating and conducting spot checks for external assessments
Coordinating external communications for centres and EQAs
Contributing to team and directorate meetings
Any other duties as directed by the EQA Lead
**The minimum requirements for this role are;**
***Experience of coordinating and working with a team of remote working professionals, demonstrating ability to communicate professionally and respectfully
Experience of working autonomously
Knowledge of Microsoft packages
Experience of working in high demand environments, to targets and tight deadlines
A minimum of Level 2 English and numeracy or equivalent
Understanding of the function of awarding organisations and the regulatory structures they operate within
Monitoring and reviewing quality assurance systems across a wide range of providers
Experience of meeting agreed objectives and targets
Experience of developing and delivering quality assurance and assessor training
Evidence of continued professional development
Experience of coordinating EQA activities and working with a remote team within an awarding organisation in a previous role would be desirable, but not essential.
