Our client is a charity that brings community-led creative projects to Sedgemoor behalf of local community organisations. They hold the Arts Council Creative People and Places project for Sedgemoor and their vision is to ensure that everyone living and working in Sedgemoor can access, experience and engage with creative arts and culture.

**About the role**:
The charity is looking for an enthusiastic and self-starting Communications and Admin Coordinator to co-ordinate their communications activities including social media, marketing and public relations, and to administer and support projects.

The Communications and Admin Coordinator will work with the Project Director and the Producer and Community Engagement Manager to support the artistic and strategic vision, working closely with community hubs and associates, Consortium members, artistic mentors, organisations, voluntary groups, artists and other stakeholders and partners to fulfil the aims and objectives of Creative People and Places.
- Key responsibilities include:_
- Delivery of all the communications needs of the program including marketing, social media, public relations, etc
- Supporting the Programme Director and Producer & Community Engagement Manager in the delivery of projects and events, including coordinating small to medium projects
- Coordination of key data including the CRM system
- Ensuring marketing objectives and audience development goals are considered and reflected in the design and development of new activities

The Communications and Admin Coordinator role is based in Bridgwater, with flexible working conditions including partial working remotely (both in the field as required and if desired, from home). Weekend and evening work will be required with TOIL available. The position is offered on a 35 hour per week, two-year contract to coincide with current ACE funding to April 2025. A salary of £25,480 p.a. is offered.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

- Experience in strategic communications and marketing
- Excellent data management, time management, and communication skills
- A collaborative way of working
- A commitment to minimise their carbon footprint in delivering their activities
- Share their values of sustainability, empowerment, excellence, and diversity

The successful applicant will require a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
