**Purpose of the role**:
You will become the UK welding expert supporting produce management with range and supplier selection, develop training plans for the field sales team developing technical and practical competencies across the sales team.

**Duties**:

- Are a Qualified Welding Engineer
- Specific welding experience to include: TIG Plasma, MIG / MAG laser-hybrid, Resistance & Cobots
- Familiar with weld data monitoring
- Able to read and interpret customer technical drawings
- Read and interpret welding symbols and interpret metallurgical data
- Business development expertise with a proven sales track record
- Strongly networked in the welding UK industry
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to self-manage & quickly assess priorities
- Strong communication skills including public speaking, large group presentations & discussions
- Ability to influence major stakeholders both internal & external
- Risk and project management skills
- Create technical quotations & conclude price negotiations
- Expert in powerpoint & other Microsoft products to create compelling customer presentations
