This is a hybrid role; with remote working and some onsite presence in our central Leeds offices.

**About the role**

As **Front-End Technical Lead**, you’ll have the opportunity to oversee all technical aspects of the in-house development team and its projects. You will - Analyse project briefs, identify risks and resources that are required
- Co-ordinate with other Technical Leads, Product Owners and Senior Managers to help plan and maintain our technical and feature roadmaps to ensure our business goals are met and delivered on time
- Review technical incidents and report to stakeholders and dev team members
- Coach, develop and motivate the team, as well as build lasting relationships with each team member
- Inform roadmaps and timelines for large projects

**About you**

You will have a proven track record as a Technical Lead with technical expertise and the ability to coach and mentor a team. What will you bring to the role?
- Expert in front end development, in particular React/ TS/ JS
- Troubleshoot technical problems and remove technical blockers
- Ability to drive the technical direction of new and existing products
- Code reviews and enforce best practices across the development team
- Analyse and identify areas for improvement in the core code and products
- Mentor, coach and develop team members
- Ability to scope, plan and split large projects into epics and user stories
- Ability to communicate technically and non-technically to senior stakeholders
- Track record of writing, maintaining and promoting technical documentation

**Desirable -**
- Jira experience
- CI/ CD pipelines, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
