**The Role****:

- **CNC Turner

You will join our team of multi-skilled machinists & turners, producing a diverse range of products/services to exacting standards for both internal and external clients. We have a position available in CNC Turning.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings / specifications thus determining setup procedure / programming and tooling requirements.
- Programming of CNC lathe.
- Set-ups and operation of Mazak CNC Lathe.
- General machining duties, both CNC and manual as required.
- Use of various measuring and gauging equipment.
- Ensuring all processed parts are efficiently produced and conform to the related drawing and specification.
- Adherence to material specifications and traceability requirements.
- Accurate processing of work orders and QA documentation.
- Day to day general maintenance of equipment ensuring that all faults are reported.
- Housekeeping of work area, ensuring 5S work practices are maintained.
- Assist in training, nurturing of apprentices.
- Continuously striving to improve productivity and work methods.
- All duties to be completed in accordance with Health & Safety regulations.
- Time served CNC Turner. (Mazak experience preferred)
- Ability to self-setup and program on the machine.
- Manual Turning experience beneficial.
- Experience in VMC milling also beneficial.
- Have a proven record of quality workmanship.
- Must be comfortable working in a busy environment and be able to use your initiative and plan in advance.
- Self-motivated with a good work ethic and attention to detail.
- Enthusiastic, reliable, hardworking and conscientious.
- Good communication skills.

This is a permanent full-time position. Woollard & Henry offers an excellent working environment, generous holiday entitlement and as an Employee-owned business; opportunities to share in our success.

This is a rotational day and backshift position. Normal hours: Dayshift (Mon-Thu 8:00 - 16:30 & 08:00 - 16:00 Friday. Back shift 16:00 - 02:00, Mon-Thurs. 2 week rotation.
