An exciting new opportunity has arisen at Brook Street Social Care

We are currently recruiting for a Project Worker supporting young parent in the East Lancashire area. The role is a _12 month contract_ across two 6 month contracts for **25 hours per week** with a salary of **£21,000 (pro-rata).**

The initial 6 month contract will be maternity cover. As the Project Worker you will be committed to supporting young parents who are placed with our client. Your support will assist the young parents to gain independence and move into their own accommodation. You will be confident in assessing young people for teenage family service placements. You will be passionate about supporting the young parents in their own homes, providing comprehensive weekly support to a caseload of service users. You will provide training to service users around independent living skills on a one-to-one or group basis.

The second 6 month of the contract is the start of an exciting new project being trialled by our client. During this contract you will be a Floating Support Officer to assist the young parents following their new independence after they have moved on from the service to ensure they are well supported and able to maintain their independent tenancies.

The role will be very rewarding with no two days being the same. Our client has highlighted that they are flexible in terms of when you complete your working hours, providing it suits the service users. Qualifications are not essential for this role.
