**The Vacancy**

It’s an exciting time for us, we want to engage more customers, use their feedback well, set new standards and improve the quality and effectiveness of our complaint responses.

Where services fall short of customer expectations, we want to know so we can put things right and so we can learn and improve.

There are two Repairs Surveyor roles within the centralised Complaints team. These roles focus on ensuring that repairs needs are promptly assessed, accurately diagnosed, that repairs orders are raised and that work is post inspected on completion.

**This is an important role in which you will**:

- Combine your technical skills with excellent customer service to build trust where service failures have occurred.
- Assess defects and specify repairs required to remedy service failures.
- Agree timescales for repairs with customers and with repairs colleagues.
- Liaise well with colleagues to support the resolution of complaints.
- Contribute to learning through the evaluation of repair processes that have contributed to service failure.

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Hold a relevant construction related qualification or equivalent.
- Have experience of carrying out asset management related surveying.
- Have knowledge and experience of the on-site management of contractors.
- Demonstrate excellent customer focus.
- Demonstrate a proven ability to communicate with customers and colleagues in a professional and sensitive manner.
- Manage your workload well, plan and prioritise, keep system records updated and contribute to the delivery of complaint responses within agreed timescales.
