**About the Opportunity**

Our Business Intelligence and Analytics team has grown out of our asset management, business solutions and infrastructure advisory services, augmenting our other services by providing the digital consultancy - developing the systems, structure, management and analytics our clients need through practical, value-adding solutions. Our client-centric approach is tailored to the specific qualities of each place and client, drawing on our knowledge of their challenges and aspirations. We create and embed strategic digital transformation, enabling our clients to access the intelligence in their data and make better business decisions, faster.

We are looking for a Principal Consultant for Data and Information Management, able to interface directly with client teams, helping them understand and harness their data. You’ll ensure our clients are business, customer and market ready to derive insights. Through the creation of governance frameworks, you’ll help our clients: gain complete oversight to control and manage data as a strategic asset. You’ll help our clients optimise the management, integration and distribution of information; implement common data environments; promote data lineage; and align data models with business activities and strategic objectives.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:
To thrive in our Business Intelligence and Analytics practice group you’ll be adaptable with a strategic mindset, someone who cultivates innovation and is a strong conceptual problem solver. Curious, creative and empathetic, you’ll demonstrate active listening skills, taking a relationship centric approach with stakeholders and always seeking a better way. If this sounds like you, and you have the following technical skills and experience, we’d love to hear from you:

- Experience developing information strategies and improvement roadmaps
- Experience capturing information requirements and delivering gap assessments
- Experience of building or managing database driven solutions (SQL or NoSQL), manipulating and analysing large data sets and presenting insight in a user-friendly format
- Experience of interfacing directly with clients, particularly with national or local government bodies and/or with infrastructure owners and operators
- Understanding of scalable data transformation, digital replicas and digital twins and an appreciation of System Architecture

We put people at the heart of our business and we truly believe that by supporting one another through our culture of caring, we all succeed. We value positive mental health and a sense of belonging for all employees. Find out more about life at Jacobs.
