**About the job**

Working from our OnSite Central Ltd Worcester office and reporting to the Waterways Team Leader. We are inviting applicants for a number of site based roles as Waterways Civil Labourers

As part of the Waterways team, you will assist in all aspects of Waterway works, typically being survey and remedial working to complete various projects on the UK wide canals and rivers network.

To do this we need people who will take great care to detail and work to a high standard.to:

- Ensure all Health and safety requirements are met on site as per company policies.
- Operate plant and machinery you are trained in the use of.
- Ensure that equipment and machinery is properly utilised for its intended purpose.
- Assist in delivering various projects across waterways department.
- Drive and assist with navigation to site.

There will be occasional need to travel, work and stay away from home midweek on some of our projects.
This is outdoor, physical work, whatever the weather, so you really need to love working outside.

**About the successful applicant**

As a part of team you will have overall responsibility for completing all daily worksheets/permits to dig that are applicable to each task whilst delivering high productivity, excellent quality of work and adopting best practice. Taking pride in your work along with being self-motivated is essential as this role will be physically demanding by nature and will be predominantly working outdoors.

- Full and UK valid driving licence is essential

**Experience**:
