Role Description D365 Tester

As a D365 tester, you will play an integral part in the success of our software implementation projects. Working in a dedicated team alongside functional consultants & developers you will be responsible for ensuring that the projects we deliver meet our quality assurance standards. You will conduct functional & manual tests to sign off that the software created by the development team is fit for purpose before it is deployed to customers to UAT. You will also provide UAT support to clients where needed and perform smoke tests post production release.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the definition & execution of the test approach
- Gain an understanding of clients business processes to create & maintain appropriate test scenarios & execute them
- Execute functional, system, integration, smoke & regression testing
- Design, develop & track test cases & scripts
- Detect & track software defects
- Help troubleshoot errors
- Test configurations & customisations of the system
- Triage customer bugs/issue raised
- Provide support & documentation to the development team, support team and end users
- Analyse user stories and user requirements for validity and feasibility
- Provide estimates for completion of testing tasks in order that these can be planned into a sprint
- Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
- Maintain awareness of and follow Chorus company procedures and guidelines
- Demonstrate behaviours that promote our values
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested Personal Specification

Experienced tester with prior knowledge of D365 looking to challenge yourself on a diverse range of projects and requirements.

**Required**:

- Good understanding of D365 Customer Engagement
- Previous experience as a tester in a similar role
- Excellent written & verbal skills
- Analytical and critical thinker
- Motivated self-starter
- Team player
- Interpersonal & communication skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, technologies & culture
- Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira or similar **Desired**:

- ISTQB Foundation Software testing or similar
- Exposure to automation testing
