**Behaviour Support Mentor**

**Full-time | 5 days a week| 8.30 - 3.30 | Monday to Friday | Term time only | £76.00 per day | Weekly pay | PAYE only.**

Now Education is working in partnership with a school in Barry that is currently looking to employ a behaviour mentor to support their site, working with pupils who have SEBD, ADHD, Anxiety and Developmental Traumas.

This role will be supporting pupils in a group setting. You will also be responsible for promoting an inclusive learning environment striving to support all their pupils’ social and emotional understanding. You will be working with a variety of students giving you the opportunity to build your skills across a range of needs giving you a full experience of providing support across the spectrum.

We are looking for someone with an understanding of emotional difficulties and someone of an empathic, yet resilient nature. The successful applicant will need to be calm, approachable, friendly and be able to create a warm and welcoming environment for the students to achieve in.

- An excellent standard of written and spoken English.
- Experience working in the ALN Education sector or Healthcare sector.
- A genuine passion for working within the special educational needs environment.
- You must be available 5 days per week between the hours of 8.30 am - 3.30 pm.
- EWC Registered. (We can support you with this if you have not yet registered.)
- Hold a Child & Adult DBS on the update service (We can support you with this if you have not yet registered.)
