The Documentation Controller role is designed to provide direct control and supervision of Aircraft Documentation carried out during Aircraft Scheduled and Unscheduled Maintenance, Repairs and Modification work to military aircraft. Reporting to the DocumentationTask Lead and accountable to the Operations Manager as their line manager.
**Responsibilities**:
- Operate and Maintain aircraft on GOLDesp.
- Undertake Audits on MOD Form 700, Aircraft LIS and processed Maintenance Work Orders.
- Update Technical Records/Aircraft Documentation Set (IADS/ERC's).
- Update/Management of LIS as Custodian or equivalent.
- LIS Creations.
- Support the scanning of Archived Maintenance Work packs, uploading to Base prior to returning completed packs to the customer post maintenance.
- Perform Acceptance and Dispatch LIS quality checks.
- Review vendor supplied materials to ensure general contractual compliance.
- Coordinate with customers to resolve post - Acceptance and Delivery documentation issues.
- Ability to work under limited supervision.
Qualifications:
- GOLDesp aircraft custodian-S5 experience is essential plus boundary cell experience beneficial.
- Working Knowledge of MF700.
- Experience in a Continued Airworthiness Management Organisation.
- Solid understanding of MAA Regulations and RAs.
- Previous experience in a Military Aircraft Environment (Chinook ideally but not essential)
- Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a UK security clearance (SC) for which UK residency is required. All information will be checked and verified.
