**Registration Service: Registration Officer - Births and deaths**

**We are currently recruiting **

A **Registration Officer **to work at **Lancaster Registration Office. **This is a permanent 37 hours per week post.

The role is to
- to undertake duties attached to the registration of Births, Deaths and Still births
- attest routine notices of marriage and civil partnerships
- support the delivery of a high-quality Registration Service
- work as a member of the Registration team

**Our service **

The Registration Service creates **accurate and timely records **of all **Births, Still-Births, Deaths, Marriages and Civil Partnerships **and makes provision for couples to **give notice **of their intention to marry or to form a Civil Partnership.

We are looking for someone who is **customer focused **, confident using **digital resources **and committed to effective **team working **. You will have excellent people skills, and the ability to able to work accurately, following work procedures and without close supervision.
