**Accounts Assistant**

An exciting opportunity to join our growing finance team working at our new site in Holmewood, Chesterfield.

The role will involve supporting the finance department with the day-to-day accounting functions, as well as office administration in a busy office environment. This is a new role due to our continued growth.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a flexible attitude and the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Someone who can contribute to a positive workplace culture and grow with us, you will become an integral part of our business.

You should have good communication and organisation skills and be capable or multi-tasking whilst maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

- Maintain sales ledger and accounts receivable
- Monitoring credit scores
- Maintain purchase ledger and reconciling statements for payment
- Sign off invoices
- Raise invoice queries and chase credit notes
- Intercompany recharges
- Manage Company utilities across all sites
- Assisting with payroll and recording of hours
- Raise purchase orders
- Incoming and outgoing mail
- Taking care of administration tasks, such as correspondence, filing and printing

The role is full time Monday to Friday, but your hours can be discussed at interview.

Competitive salary of up to £27,000 depending on experience.

Additionally, we offer a competitive employee incentive package including Company Pension Scheme, Sick Pay, Increased holiday allowance with length of service, Westfield Health Care and Death in Service cover.
- 5 GCSE’s A-C grade including Maths and English
- Good IT skills including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience in an accounts department
- Experience of Sage 50 and Xero would be preferred
- Good communication skills
- Strong administrations skills
- Ability to work independently

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
