**JELD-WEN Penrith** is currently seeking a **Production Specialist **to join our growing team.

**£13.29 to £15.35 per hour**

**Penrith**

**Immediate start**

**3 shift rota: 06:00 to 14:00 - 14:00 to 22:00 - 22:00 to 06:00**

**Mon to Fri only**

**Full time, permanent contracts**

**Overtime available at enhanced rates**

**YOUR ROLE**

As part of our Quality Team, you will be working within a fast-paced production environment and your duties will be as followed:

- Verifying that products are being supplied to specifications
- Identifying potential sub-standard materials
- Preventing substandard materials from entering the supply chain
- Identifying and segregating any non-conforming items
- Feedback findings and producing reports
- Machine setting and basic maintenance
- Root cause / problem solving
- Recording down time
- Working closely with the team to build a “right-first-time culture”

**REQUIRED PROFILE**
- Previous experience in a similar role and environment is desirable however not essential, as training will be provided
- 'Health and Safety First' mentality
- Mechanically minded
- A very keen eye for detail
- Quality conscious
- Ability to work independently to an extremely high standard
- IT skills
