Have a strong understanding of health and safety; be adaptable and customer-focused; be excellently organised; show great attention to detail; be a team member and enjoy success as a team; be knowledgeable about health and safety; and have a flexible approach to work.

The essential ingredient at the heart of our business is our people so we are searching for a _**Kitchen Porter**_ with a background in food catering services would be desirable but not necessary as full training is given to join our business and work at one of our highly prestigious education settings.

The Brentwood School, in Brentwood, Essex are looking for staff 8am-4pm, Term Time only. This position offers a fantastic work life balance weekly, plus all of the school holidays off, including the whole of the Christmas period, not returning until the New Year.

As a _**Kitchen Porter**_ you will

As well as having an excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food & service and possess bags of enthusiasm.

This position offers a fantastic work life balance as it is a term time only position working five days a week during term time. There are no weekends, however, if you are looking for overtime, some weekend and evening work is available.

The hourly rate is £11.08 paid for 175 working days plus 28 days holiday pay.
