We encourage both qualified locksmiths and people who have basic practical skills with an interest in becoming qualified to apply. This position has potential for you to earn commission on top of your basic salary. With any call outs at night charged at a higher rate, you have even more of an incentive to assist motorists who are stranded. The job description is not fixed template of your employment. You will need to be confident and capable of lone working, ability to generate business and sell our services will be required however training and guidance will be given. A driving license is essential and you will need to be comfortable driving a mid size van.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, repair, and maintain various types of locks
- Cut new or duplicate keys using key-cutting machines
- Open locked doors and vehicles using specialized tools and techniques
- Assess security needs and recommend appropriate lock systems or security measures
- Provide emergency lockout services to customers
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a locksmith training program or apprenticeship is preferred
- Experience as a locksmith or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of different types of locks preferred
- Proficiency in using locksmith tools and equipment preferred
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Good communication and customer service skills

**Salary**: £22,158.00-£35,000.00 per year
