We’re looking for a Junior Marketing Executive with a flair for writing engaging copy, building community and storytelling.

Reporting to the Senior Content & Creative Manager, this role will support the marketing team on a variety of creative and administrative tasks. Focuses of this role include social media, writing blog content and supporting with marketing admin.

This would be the perfect role for someone early in their marketing career who is keen to develop their skills within a supportive, ambitious and creative team.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- **Content Creation**: Film, design, write and craft creative and engaging social media content to connect with our lively audience.
- **Social Media**: Support social media planning, copywriting, scheduling and design. Present periodic social media reports to demonstrate KPI progress, content performance and to reveal any insights to improve and refine future content.
- **Trends**: Stay up to date with market and social trends and competitors.
- **Community and engagement**: Monitor and engage where appropriate with our social media audience. Liaising with our customer service to highlight any customer questions and queries where needed. Start conversations where our audience are - and put the ‘social’ in social media.
- **Copywriting**: With guidance and support from the Senior Content & Creative Manager, write copy for blogs, print collateral, social media and web.
- **Internal Newsletter**:Support the team with collating articles and imagery for our internal weekly newsletter.
- **Blogging**: Write blog copy that’s helpful and engaging for our audience, following SEO best practice guides.
- **CMS Maintenance**: Add content to our CMS while following SEO best practice.
- **Reporting**:Work alongside our Senior Marketing Coordinator to source data for weekly internal reporting.
- **Admin**:Support our Senior Marketing Coordinator with administrative tasks including raising purchase orders, and keeping our Salesforce database up to date.
- **Proofing**:Occasionally lend your keen eye for detail to help ensure all print assets are proofed to perfection.

**Requirements**:

- (preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English or similar
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a marketing role
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Finger on the pulse with digital marketing and social media trends
- Enthusiasm and confidence to dive in and create video content about our products, their benefits and topics relevant to our audience
- Ability to create spreadsheets and understand quantitative data for reporting
- Experience with social media platforms with a focus on Facebook as a primary channel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative, confident and professional person who takes pride in their work
- Driven and ambitious
- Can work well under time constraints and to meet deadlines, with the passion and ability to work reactively to the business needs as and when these arise

**Some experience with the following would be preferred**:

- Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
- Social media business account management
- Graphic design/editing software (e.g. Canva, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- CRM System (e.g. Salesforce)
