Site Operative

THE ROLE
- Inspection and Operation of mobile plant (primarily loading shovel) and fixed processing plant
- Taking an active role in all daily operations associated with the safe running of the site
- To ensure the efficient and accurate operation of the weighbridge function and all its related aspects
- To take an active role in contributing towards a positive SHE culture
- Strict adherence to Safety, Health and Environmental compliance in accordance with current legislation and Brett Group Policies
- Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction by meeting customer requirements on service and quality
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders

THE REQUIREMENTS
- Proven track record within the aggregates or waste industry, although not essential as training will be given
- To hold or be willing to work towards a Mobile Plant QCF L2 or above
- Good mechanical understanding of fixed and mobile plant would be an asset
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with good timekeeping and the ability to work as part of a team
- Flexible and able to work at other sites as required
