To welcome and acknowledge children & parent as they arrive for each class
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to class to set up equipment
- Ensure classes commence and finish on time
- Work though the Rugbytots programme to teach the basic core skills used in rugby in a fun and structured environment using equipment and apparatus provided
- Encourage team spirit and patience amongst the team by delivering appropriate games and tasks in groups and individually
- To lead, motivate and engage with the children in your classes
- Maintain authority over the class in a clear and concise manner and promptly address any disruptive behaviour
- Leave the venue clear and tidy after the classes have finished
- Maintain Rugbytots Equipment, ensuring the kit is counted in and out at the start and end of each session and checked against the kit list provided
- Ensure any damages, loss or items that are running low (e.g., stickers) are reported immediately to the office

**Professional requirements**:

- To act in a professional way as a representative of Rugbytots whilst conducting your classes
- Ensure adherence to Rugbytots policies, these include, but are not limited to, adherence to child protection policy and reporting procedures, Rugbytots code of conduct, complaints procedures, health and safety policy statement, accident log and photographic / videography policy
- If available, be able to cover other, or additional Rugbytots classes in emergencies
- To attend all training and refresher courses as required by Rugbytots

**Administration requirements**:

- To print or write out name labels based on the class register each week ensuring that every child has a name badge
- To update class attendance list on a weekly basis
- Handing out rebooking letters, advising on term dates, change of venue details or handing out newsletters etc. when required

Referring any parent with other enquiries to the office

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 2-3 per week

**Salary**: £12.00-£20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Weekends only

- Portishead: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
