**Tell me more about the Role..?**

As a QA Tester you will be involved in daily tasks within distributed delivery teams. Working with the QA team to create and maintain QA processes and documentation with a desire for self-learning and improvement during any quiet periods. Forrit is in the process of increasing its automation coverage across the estate and the QA Tester should be excited to develop their own skillset in this space, helping Forrit release quality products and work well within their delivery team and with their QA colleagues. Work responsibilities will consist of;
- Daily reporting of bugs and verification of work tickets
- Assisting distributed teams in maintaining ticket databases, documentation repositories and other systems used by the team
- Being attentive and valuable during team meetings, inter-team activities
- Working with the QA team and distributed teams to maintain automated testing solutions for all projects
- Identify opportunities for improvements to test processes and the automated suite

**What do I need to Bring..?**

Experience in front-end web testing, including accessibility and responsiveness testing is essential, as well as experience with test case management and defect management systems, such as Jira and Azure DevOps Test Plans. You should understand and have worked with Agile development methodology and have a familiarity with writing and maintaining documentation for all aspects of the testing lifecycle.

If you have experience with front-end automation technologies, such as Microsoft Playwright,.NET platform, CMS platforms that would be great and you should have had some interaction with the Azure cloud platform, or equivalent. ISTQB Certified Foundation Level Software Tester would be ideal but not essential and AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals certification.
