**Residential and Conveyancing Paralegal**

**Morden Office**

You will be supporting and working closely with partners, senior associates and associates within the team. As a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal within this team, you will be gaining great exposure within the team.

**Duties of the Residential Conveyancing Paralegal**
- Working under pressure to support solicitors in a busy department.
- **Running own small caseload of around 15-20 matters.**:

- Dealing with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and solicitors at every stage of transaction from initial instruction to completion.
- Implementing searches and raising pre-contract enquiries.
- Dealing with post completion matters including registration and sending deeds to clients/bank/building societies and closing files.
- Operating a case-management system.
- Conducting title checks for both freehold and leasehold properties

**Skills Required**:

- Have experience in dealing with residential and commercial conveyancing
- Management of own files
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to use own initiative
- Effective and confident communicator (verbal and written)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team
- IT literate
- Experience using case management system (LEAP) preferred but not essential
