SEO Specialist

**Overview**

Bulletproof is looking for a seasoned SEO Specialist to come in and own our SEO activities, taking us to the next step of our organic growth. We’re looking for a proactive do-er, able to create the big-picture strategy whilst implementing the tactics to drive results. A key part of this role will be self-serving and using your own copywriting skills to create the materials you need to succeed, as well as sourcing thought leadership/insight content from across the business. You’ll be directly supported by a wider marketing team in a positive, friendly and inclusive company where everyone helps everyone else to succeed.

**Responsibilities**
- Create & implement a plan to win both the SERP & SGE
- Create SEO resources yourself, as well as sourcing them from the wider marketing team and other business units
- Set-up effective, relevant SEO reporting and metrics
- Run all on-page and off-page B2B SEO activities, including:

- KW research
- Content sourcing & creation
- Internal linking
- Metadata & image optimisation
- URL structure
- External links/HARO
- Feed into CRO and UX considerations
- Competitor research & analysis
- Brand signals
- Site load
- Mobile design input
- Crawl errors
- Content duplication/cannibalisation
- E-commerce SEO hacks
- SGE influencing
- etc
- Keep the marketing team proactively informed about SEO landscape changes and challenges, including your own analysis
- Manage your own workload
- Track the outcomes of your efforts to demonstrate results
- Bottom line: make SEO play its part in delivering increased organic lead volumes
- Be experienced in similar SEO operations to this job description, including in planning & executing on a strategy
- Be a do-er, not just a thinker,
- Have experience of what reports and metrics worked previously, and implement them at Bulletproof
- Keen to leverage your experience to make an outcome-driven plan, with a sustainable roadmap of activities
- Know how to efficiently service a large keyword estate across a variety of different B2B services
- Know the basics of tone of voice and writing for different purposes (e.g. a MoFu blog vs a ToFu keyword-optimised landing page)
- Be confident in sourcing info & resources from across the business, building relationships as you go
- Be confident in balancing multiple active projects & able to manage your own workload
- Keep abreast of the latest SEO landscape changes and proactively feed back to the wider marketing team
- Proactively communicate SEO activities and priorities to management
- Be confident in your abilities to leverage emerging technologies, such as SGE
- Work to core business hours and maintain an excellent use of corporate tooling (Microsoft)
- Know how to create and improve reporting in GA4, and be able to quickly learn SEMrush/SurferSEO
- Ultimately, know how to turn SEO activities into organic leadgen

**Nice-to-haves**
- Experience of IT/tech industry
- Experience of differences across UK & US markets
- Experience of cyber security/compliance industries is a significant advantage
