Material Handler

**Overview**:
**Overview of Role**
- The Material Handler is responsible for physical and administrative tasks involved in the receiving storing and shipment of service parts and equipment including maintaining records of goods in and out.**Responsibilities**:

- Receiving materials into the spare parts warehouse and inventory management system
- Checking for damaged or missing materials versus delivery paperwork
- Sorting and placing materials onto racks or shelves.
- Moving materials around by hand, using lifting gear or a forklift / bendi truck
- Picking and packing orders for delivery or pickup
- Loading and sometimes delivering orders
- Performing warehouse inventory control via a warehouse scanner or computer
- Prepares and maintains paperwork records of orders shipped.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in a warehouse / store’s environment, covering goods inward, picking, packing, and shipping including operating a forklift.
- Experience of working with a computerized stock management system and computers and software.
- Methodical and organised
- Able to integrate well into an established team supporting and assisting colleagues.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook an advantage
