Payroll Officer

Reed are working closely with a local academy trust to help recruit a Payroll Officer to join their small but friendly team for a minimum of 12 months. If you are wanting to work within a driven and supportive team then this may be the perfect opportunityfor you.

**What is the day-to-day of the role**:

- Monitoring the correct payments for employees on Maternity/Adoption Leave and Long-Term Sickness
- Responsible for the payroll processing for an allocated group of academies
- Carrying out checking processes on Primary Academy payrolls as directed by the Payroll Team Leader
- Responsible for the reconciliation of payroll deductions
- Carrying out general pension administrative duties
- Coordinating and accurately preparing monthly Pension returns and reconciliation of contributions

**About you**
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience working in payroll
- Great eye for details
- Excellent communication skills
