Cylinder Operative

**Job Description**:
Pertemps are currently reccruiting for experienced and hard-working Cylinder Operatives to join the team of one of our long-standing clients, from their Brinsworth based plant.

**Your role as a Cylinder Operative will involve**:

- Filling of gases in accordance with all legal, Afrox and quality control standards as well as for the movement of cylinders in the yard, to and from the filling areas_
- You will be performing all pre and post fill inspections and sealing of cylinders according to standards to meet required specifications as an important part of your working routine_
- Professionally you ensure the correct completion of documentation, complete and daily scale checks for Liquefied Gas Filling, and correctly marked cylinders for maintenance_
- You will maintain good housekeeping standards around workstation and on site is part of your responsibilities_
- As you implement all line manager's reasonable requests, you conscientiously adhere to all safety standards and comply with PPE requirements for each work area_
- While managing daily production plans to maintain target stock levels, you are committed to achieve and maintain set production targets_
- An energetic, self-motivated and disciplined team player_
- Possesses great communication skills as well as a good command of English_
- Willing to work overtime when required_
- Must have a high level of personal integrity_
- A matric certificate could successfully be achieved by you_

**Working Hours and Pay Rate**:

- You will be required to work predominately Monday to Friday 6pm until 2/3am and your pay rate will be £16.57 per hour._
