Trainee Machinist

**Morestarts** are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our long time partners, who are a well established manufacturing business in Colwick.

They require a **Trainee Machinist** to join their team.

**Requirements**:
We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in Machining and aspires to become a qualified Machine Operator, whilst no previous Machining experience is necessary, they would prefer if you have some experience in Engineering or Manufacturing.

**Responsibilities**
You will learn how to operate a range of CNC machinery, using Heidenhain and Fanuc programming software. Majority of training will be provided in-house and you will shadow the existing skilled machine operators, you may be required to complete training with External providers at some stages.

**Salary**
Starting salary whilst learning will be £11ph, this will be reviewed at various stages of your training.

**Working Hours**
Monday to Thursday - 08:00 to 16:30
Fridays 08:00 to 15:50
Total: 39 hours pw

**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour
