We are seeking to recruit two outstanding individuals to join our fun and dynamic team in a part time and seasonal capacity, to help support our wonderful customers in our shop in an idyllic location in SE Cornwall next to Cawsand Beach - just a short ferry ride from Plymouth’s historic Barbican, and within easy reach of Torpoint, Millbrook and Liskeard.

Here is your opportunity to become a valued team member and learn the craft of perfect ice cream & coffee making Alongside organising food orders and supporting customers requests.

To join our successful team you do not need any formal qualifications, but you must be trustworthy and reliable. You will need to love working with the public, be able to work under pressure, handle payments and you must be very well organised.

You will be required to arrive at the shop in good time for your day shift and help set up for the day in preparation for a busy day’s trading.

From this incredible beach side location, you will have a view of the crystal clear waters of this unique Cornish cove including Plymouth Sound and beyond

An example shift would be a 10:30am - 5.30pm. During holidays and weekends and overtime will be offered as the shop will trade longer during the higher season.

To ensure you are ready to join our wonderful team, we will provide FULL training and ongoing support before you start, to ensure you are confident and happy in your role

- Be enthusiastic, pro active, calm under pressure and capable of working on their own and within a team.

- Have an eagerness to learn the craft of perfect ice cream & coffee making.
- Have experience in providing excellent customer service -ideally in the catering/hospitality industry.
- Have experience in dealing with cash and card transactions confidently.

To ensure you are ready to join our wonderful team, we will provide full training and ongoing support before you start, to ensure you are confident and happy in your role

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Serving customers with a smile, whilst showing efficiency and confidence.
- Serving scooped ice cream, coffee and taking customer orders with skill and cleanliness.
- Cleaning, tidying and managing waste as required.
- Helping stock the shop when required.
- Most importantly, enjoying the job

**Applicants must have**:

- No criminal record.
- Experience in providing excellent customer service - ideally in the catering/hospitality industry.
- Enthusiasm and be pro active, calm under pressure and capable of working on their own and within a team.
- Exceptionally high standards of their own personal hygiene and professional conduct.
- Experience in dealing with cash and card transactions confidently.
- The commitment in working at least 2 days a week (more days/shifts may also be available)
- Flexibility to work beyond 6pm during high season and weekend shifts when required (prior agreement will be sought)
