Oscar Technology have partnered with a large company who are looking to expand their data team. They started off over 50 years ago and have scaled the business up to over 40 branches within the UK.

**The Role**

This is a great opportunity for a DBA to join a large data team whilst the business is in their next growth stage. They are looking to hire multiple data roles in the next 6-12 months. You will be collaborating and reporting directly to the DBA Manger.

**Responsibilities**
- Postgres specific backup, recovery, and data replication techniques.
- Troubleshoot database issues
- Implementing and managing database upgrades and optimisation
- Use diagnostics and statistics to baseline & improve existing queries, functions and enhance runtime performance.

**Requirements**:

- Linux OS (Redhat & Ubuntu) and Windows Server
- PostgreSQL
