**Site Foreman (Solar Roofing)**

**Location: Manchester / Site based**

**Salary: £42 - 45k**

Our clients is seeking a diligent Site Foreman to join our expanding operations across the United Kingdom. This pivotal role involves overseeing various sites on a ¾ days a week with the rest being in the Manchester office. This role will come with responsibility for reporting, health & safety, project management and resource allocation. Previous experience of working on commercial solar PV projects is essential but this client would consider someone who comes from a commercial roofing background.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- You will be required to work on the tools installing commercial solar PV on rooftop projects whilst running the team on site.
- Enforce all health and safety protocols on-site, conducting regular inspections and safety meetings.
- Develop and implement safety procedures, ensuring compliance by all on-site personnel.
- Manage project schedules, coordinating tasks to maintain efficient workflow and meet deadlines.
- Oversee timesheets and labour allocation, ensuring accurate recording and optimal resource utilisation.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to on-site teams, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Creates and maintain positive relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to meet project requirements effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of site activities, progress reports, and incidents for documentation and analysis.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and enhanced efficiency on-site through proactive measures.

**Qualifications Needed**:

- Roofing NVQ
- SSSTS
- CSCS
- Working at Height
- IPAF - desirable
- NPORS - desirable
- IOSH - desirable

**Salary**: £42,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
