**Your New Role as an Accounting Senior**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and review the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and provide insights.
- Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial data and analysis.
- Prepare financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators.
- Assist in external audits, providing documentation and support.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, offering training and constructive feedback.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA).
- Several years of work history as a part-qualified or studier.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a practice environment is essential.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage client relationships.
- Passionate about delivering high-quality service.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Willingness to adapt to changes in the accounting landscape and embrace new technology.
