Nursery Apprentice

Star Bright Day Nursery has an opportunity to become part of a fun and dynamic team.

We are currently seeking a nursery practitioner apprentice to join the team.

The Nursery is located in Old Harlow.

As a Nursery apprentice you will be a flexible member of staff who will work in all areas of the nursery providing you with the opportunity to gain a vast amount of experience.

Hours: 7:00 - 5:00 or 8-6pm

**You will**:

- Provide high standards of care within the Nursery including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.
- Ensure that children are kept safe and when necessary follow safeguarding procedures.
- Ensure that the nutritional needs of the children are met and the Food Safety Regulations are complied with.
- Undertake a shared responsibility for health, safety and cleanliness throughout the nursery.

What experience must I have in order to apply?
- Previous childcare experience is preferred but not essential
- Excellent communicator

As part of the apprenticeship, you will be working towards your Level 2 or Level 3 (dependent upon experience) Year Early Educator qualification as well as any required Functional Skills with ABM Training.
